In modern homes, the use of glass doors is becoming more and more common. Glass doors can be seen everywhere in balconies, bedrooms and bathrooms. The installation and use of glass doors must require the installation of floor springs. Then, how to install glass door floor springs? How to replace glass doors floor spring?
(1) Preparation before installation
Before installing the tempered glass, the construction of the floor finish should be completed, and the stainless steel or other finishes of the door frame should be completed. The tempered glass limit slot at the top of the door frame has been set aside. The width of the limit groove should be 2-4mm greater than the glass thickness, and the groove depth should be 10-20mm. The wooden base with stainless steel finish can be fixed on the ground by means of wooden wedges. Then glue the stainless steel veneer to the wooden square. The aluminum alloy square tube can be fixed on the frame column with aluminum corners, or fixed on the wooden wedge buried in the ground with wood screws. The installation size of tempered glass should be measured from the bottom, middle and top of the installation location, and the small size is the cutting size of the width of the glass plate. If the dimensions measured at the top, middle and bottom are the same, when cutting the glass, the width should be 2-3mm smaller than the measured size, and the height should be smaller than 3-5mm. After cutting the tempered glass, it is necessary to carry out chamfering treatment on the four sides. The chamfering width is 2mm, and the chamfering of the four corners should be particularly careful. Generally, a fine grinding wheel should be used to grind the corners slowly to prevent edge collapse.
(2) Installation and construction:
Use a glass suction cup to suck the tempered glass tightly, and then hold the suction cup to lift the tempered glass plate. There should be 2-3 people doing it at the same time. The lifted tempered glass plate should be inserted into the limit slot at the top of the door frame, and then placed on the bottom bracket, and the installation position should be aligned so that the edge of the tempered glass plate just seals the stainless steel facing of the side frame column. seam
The method of fixing the tempered glass on the bottom bracket is as follows: nail wooden slats on the bottom bracket, and the distance from the tempered glass plate is about 4mm. Then apply glue on the wooden slats, and stick the veneer stainless steel sheet on the wooden square. The installation structure of the upper and lower parts of the tempered glass plate is shown in Figure 5-197. Inject glass glue at the top limit groove and the fixed place of the bottom bracket, as well as the seam between the tempered glass and the frame column.
(3) The operation method of glass glue sealing:
First, unpack a piece of glass glue and put it into the glass glue injection tube, and use the rear pressure rod end plate of the glass glue gun to stand against the bottom of the glass glue tank. Then hold the glass glue injection tube body with one hand and hold the glue injection pressure handle with the other hand, and operate the pressure handle in a continuous loosening and pressing cycle, so that a small amount of glass glue is squeezed out from the injection port. Then align the nozzle of the glass glue with the end of the gap to be sealed.
The sealing operation of glass glue should start from the end of the gap. The key to the operation is to hold the pressing handle evenly, and at the same time, the speed of moving along the gap should be uniform, that is, with the extrusion of the glass glue, move the nozzle at a constant speed, so that the glass glue is in the gap, forming a straight line with a uniform surface. . Scrape off excess glass glue with a plastic sheet and wipe off the glue with a clean cloth.
(4) Butt joint between thick glass plates:
The thick glass plate for the fixed part of the door often cannot be completed with one piece. When the thick glass is butted, a distance of 2-3mm should be left for the butt joint, and the edge of the thick glass should be chamfered. After the two connected thick glasses are positioned and fixed, the glass glue is injected into the gap. After filling, the glass glue is scraped on both sides of the thick glass with a plastic sheet, and the glue traces are wiped off with a clean cloth.
