What Are The Techniques For Saving The Loss Of The Spring?

Jan 13, 2022

1. If the usage of the connector exceeds the compression amount, and the connector is used for a long time, the pressure will cause the spring to break, and the long-term use will gradually deform the spring wire. In this case, the spring cannot be used more than 300,000 times.

2. Due to the gap between the two ends of the spring, the vertical vibration of the spring will cause the deformation of the non-preloaded spring. If preloaded, the spring is relatively stable.

3. The springs, guide pins and springs used horizontally will be worn out.

4. When using a springless guide, when using a spring guide, it is easy to cause the spring to deform. The local high pressure in the twisted region is the reason for the spring to break. Use ID guide pins or OD guides and other devices.

5. When the parallelism of the spring mounting surface is poor, the spring will be twisted, and high-pressure fracture will occur locally. When the parallelism is poor, the spring will be twisted and deformed, which will cause cracking after 300,000 uses. Please improve the parallelism of the mounting surface under the condition of not more than 300,000.

6. If the inner diameter of the spring and the clearance between the guide pin and the guide pin are too small, the impact wear of the inner diameter will be caused. Conversely, if the gap is too large, the spring will twist and break. For springs with an inner diameter of 1.0mm or a long free length (free length/outer diameter greater than 4), please use a segmented step or guide pin to avoid collision with the guide pin when twisting the spring body.

7. If the clearance between the counterbore and the spring is too small, the outer diameter of the spring and counterbore will cause a concentrated breaking force due to the external expansion and friction of the counterbore. A suitable counterbore diameter is the outer diameter of the spring + 1.5mm. Countersunk holes are used for longer springs.

8. If the length of the guide pin and the depth of the countersink are short, the guide pin is too short, which will cause the needle and spring to wear. The ideal length of the guide pin is set to 1/2 the length of the spring or more, reverse C3. Chamfer.

9. When using a spring, the spring will deform under the action of external force. Inserting the inner ring spring into the outer ring (or inserting the outer ring into the inner ring) will cause damage.

10. When there is foreign matter in the machine, it has no effect on the fixed element, but it has a great impact on the spring, which is easy to cause the spring to break.
